|| 7 rare offprints including the important Spermatogenesis of Normal and Hybrid Pigeons which Guyer wrote to Thomas H. Morgan in 1910 "First I should like to call your attention to the inclosed clipping from an article of mine which appeared in the ZOOLOGICAL BULLETIN, II, 5 for 1899. At a glance you can see that it deals essentially with what we now call the Mendelian phenomena although at that time, of course, Mendelism had not yet had it's renaissance. At the time the article was published I had not figured out the Mendelian ration of 3 to 1, although I was aware that there were more brown than white birds among the grand-decensants. The point I want to make, however, is that in this return to grand-parental types I had a definite problem in mind which I was seeking a solution." * Two of the offprints are Compliments of the Author, with one signed in full. One has the ownership signature of Sewall Wright. The Guyer/Morgan letter can be found in our blog. List of offprints available.
