Mimeod manuscript in Russian. 279pp.. stapled "This work, intended for students of the history of Soviet literature, was not written for publication, for its appearance in print at the present time might jeopardise some persons mentioned in it who live on the other side of the Iron Curtain." Also contains an acknowledgment of a Guggenheim Grant which "enabled him to write this study." While the title page is in English the entire manuscript is in Russian. Another copy of the manuscript is included in the Waclaw Solski papers in "Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences of America"
